Mission Handi'capacités
"Permettre à chacun de se réaliser dans la voie qu'il a choisie."
"Permettre à chacun de se réaliser dans la voie qu'il a choisie."
Since 2008, we have been working to constantly improve the continuum Secondary school/ Higher education/ Professional life. The service coordinates and drives the development of an action plan in 5 axis to welcome and support disabled profiles (80% of whom are invisible), and create an inclusive community in coordination with all :
AXIS 1: Accompany students with disabilities in their initial or continuing education throughout their course of study, from their admission to their professional integration.
AXIS 2: Encourage work-study programs in a shared support process
AXIS 3 : Raise awareness and educate our community on disability issues
AXIS 4 : Develop accessibility on our campuses
AXIS 5 : Boost exchanges with our partner companies
In 2019, ESSEC signed the second Disability Charter of the Conférence des Grandes Écoles (CGE).
This charter advocates for a fairer higher education system and ensures that students with disabilities benefit from the same studying and success conditions as others.
This second Charter sets out new objectives:
Improving the "Secondary Education / Higher Education / Professional Life" continuum,
Promoting student life as a driver of inclusion,
Guaranteeing access to sports for everyone on campus,
Supporting international mobility for students.
Sign of the second Disability Charter at the Conférence des Grandes Écoles on the 11th February 2019.
